Volunteer no 8

This was first painted without the smile, but the volunteer smiled a lot so I made a slight adjustment to make a smile. He was very friendly and outgoing. He volunteers at a lot of organizations. He is representing the food pantry and I can see how he would make you feel comfortable whatever your position. I felt I had to post something and will replace this again when I finish the shirt.

  1. Possibly the best one yet. Can really feel the flesh over muscle over bone on his features.

  3. I agree with John, each portrait just keeps getting better and better! I imagine you'll want to be a full time portrait artist when you done with this project. I'm confident your work will be in demand!

    1. Thanks, I added a little bit of a smile from the photos. That is probably how everyone sees him. A very nice friendly guy.
