Wilson Lake Road

One of the places I paint is Wilson Lake. I have plein air painted there when the lotus were in bloom. This view is the road that runs past the lake and up into a picnic area with a shelter. The road around the lake is closed to vehicle traffic this time of the year. Looking at this makes me want to brave the cold to get this scene with snow and bare trees.

  2. Even though I loved your texture pieces, Carlene, I admit to having my heart jump with pleasure at seeing this. It is perfect!
