Honey Crisp Apple

This is a Honeycrisp apple which is a great eating variety. Not as great for painting as it poses many challenges. It is yellow and red with red spots.

    I think the color variations add interest and this is such a nice painting with a lovely backdrop and nicely rendered folds in the fabric !

    I bought some similar looking apples today and you're right they are a challenge,which I think you won!! As always I love your brushwork!
