volunteer

I still have trouble with grey hair. Sometimes I will just use black and white especially when I am in a hurry. 
11" x 14" oil on panel.

    I've never felt there was anything wrong with black and white for a gray. If it looks right it's right, right? Most blacks are ever so slightly brown or blue anyway. There's nearly 10 centuries of excellent B&W work from China and Japan.

      Thanks for commenting. I guess the fear of black comes from my watercolor painting days. Anything is acceptable if it looks good in the end.
