This is Allyssa's sister, Madison. She posed a week ago. As I am looking at this painting that I thought was finished I noticed that the hair is not quite dark enough.
This is the painting after the two hour pose. I used photo references to finish it for the above image. It did take quite a bit of editing, She has unique eyes and I did not get them right in this study. I once listened in on an artist who complained that life painting did not yield any sale-able art. It is all education to me and finding models with beautiful, interesting features is the best lesson.
