This was from a photo. I can't wait till spring to go plein air painting again. I suppose this location is great for an ice scene, if only I was tough enough to brave the cold.
What a location for a waterfall, Geode. Looks like a lovely place to paint and it is a lovely painting. I am enjoying seeing everyone on the 30 days....my work takes a bit longer to makes so some days I experiment with color( like today) as I can spend 3 to 4 days making a painting. Happy day and happy painting.

ReplyDeleteI am no plein air painting, but then again, I am no realistic painter. This looks great and has a lot of energy.
ReplyDeleteNicely done and nice colors! I prefer plein air to photos too but it's not always possible. Really nice movement in this one!
