This wisteria grows in our backyard. When I planted it, all I knew was the flowers were pretty and would make great subject matter for paintings. That was 10 years ago. The wisteria plant is a woody vine that gets very heavy and needs a good support for the weight. This one is growing on an old swingset frame. One leg has bent and I would not sit on the swing for fear it would collapse. The plant is very pretty when it blooms so for now it will stay.
