Running through the wildflowers

I took pictures of these wildflowers and the horse separately. With animal pictures I have had to take what I get. One of the best things about painting is you create the scene.

Arabian sketch

This sketch is on matboard using a black colored pencil. When sketching I don't erase which usually results in something I would not post and call it pratice or learning from my mistakes.

Colt Frolic

This is from when I was driving around on country roads looking for scenes along the river. I stopped at this farmhouse to ask if I could take photos of the the colts.
